Flying Deer Day, June 15, 11:00 am–4:00 pm

Join us for a fun-filled celebration for all ages! Tons of nature activity stations, lunch provided by the Kripalu Kitchen, bake sale, and Olympic Games—plus roving musicians and a magician! Handmade birchbark earrings, Flying Deer T-shirts, and other merch will be on sale! 

All proceeds benefit our Financial Assistance Fund. Ticket options include:

  • Admission, including lunch and a drink: $15
  • Admission only: $6
  • Lunch buffet (pay on site only): $10
  • Drink (pay on site only): $2
  • Raffle tickets: $5 each or 5 for $20

We’re shooting to make Flying Deer Day a zero waste event! Bring your own dishes if you’re buying lunch, and get a free raffle ticket for a prize bundle worth over $250! 

The lucky raffle winner will take home a treasure chest of Flying Deer items, including a mug, a sweatshirt, a pair of birch bark earrings, the Put on Your Owl Eyes nature guide by our own Devin Franklin, a baseball cap, a bottle of maple syrup made by Flying Deer students, and a $100 gift certificate towards fall programs!!

11:00 am: Opening Circle & Community Fire-Lighting

11:45 am: Nature Stations Open

  • Skull identification table
  • Hatchet throwing
  • Archery
  • Cordage and stone pendants
  • Face painting
  • Friction fire making
  • Make your own herbal vinegar
  • Fairy house village
  • Create a flower crown

11:45 am: Lunch Buffet and Bake Sale Open

  • Lunch provided by the Kripalu Kitchen
  • Drinks provided by the Berkshire Co-op
  • Bake sale hosted by the Luna Moth program!

We’re aiming for a zero-waste event! Bring your own plates, cup, and utensils and get a free raffle ticket!
