Family Nature DaYS
Family Adventures in the Fields and Forest of Flying Deer Nature Center!
For families with children ages 6–12.
Each program takes place on a Saturday from 10:00 am–2:00 pm. Register for one date or more:
- January 18
- March 8
- April 12
- May 10
Programming is free, but registration is required. Click the link below to register a child, or call 518-501-1552.
Please register ONLY if you are definitely planning to attend, as spots are limited. Last-minute cancellations or no-shows will result in a family who wanted to attend missing the opportunity.
Experience a full day of exploring, learning, and practicing new skills. Kids and their parents will learn and play together, and also spend time in separate groups, so children can explore at their own pace in age-appropriate activities. Children must be accompanied by at least one parent/guardian.
Get to know other parents while the kids connect with new friends! Babies small enough to be held during the program are welcome to come along.
Families bring their own lunch; snacks will be provided.
Please note: When registering, register the CHILD you are bringing (not the parent or the whole family). If you’re bringing more than one child, register each child separately. We’ll ask about the parent or parents accompanying the child within the registration form.
