I Wish…
For peace, appreciation, and kindness
Forgiveness and a place to call home
That it could be my birthday every day
To go on more walks
To embrace the moments that cannot be held
To appreciate everything I have more
I get into a good college
To see a real-life mermaid
That Covid is over in less than two years
That it would be Christmas every day
To find fields of dogbane
That it could be the holidays forever
I could go to a candy store every day
To find a house that is my own
Cold!
I wish a real unicorn to come to life
That 2021 will bring health and things will go back to normal
To learn a new skill I don’t know yet
That it would rain candy every day
My wishes would be contained and come true every single day
That you keep on holding on
