Here’s a great way to start (or add to) your wilderness survival kit! Simply follow these steps to make an awesome match case!
You will need:
- Scissors
- Matchbox with matches
- Empty pill or vitamin container—anything small with a lid
- Small amount of tinder of your choice: bark, dry grass or leaves, pine needles, weed tops, etc.
- Supplies to decorate your case: markers, Paracord wrap, fishing line
Step 1: Put matches in the bottle.
Step 2: Use scissors to carefully cut off the striker pad. Put striker pad in container.
Step 3: Decorate and personalize your match case.
Step 4: Locate some great tinder to add to it.
