Together we will celebrate in rounding the corner of winter! We’ll hone our fire-building skills, cook food, craft, share stories, and if we are fortunate enough, we’ll tap some sugar maples to boil our very own maple syrup! With syrup comes pancakes, and so the celebration will go!
Campers will be split into two groups: Leverets (ages 4–6) and Hares (ages 7–12).
Dress warm, with lots of layers, and bring an extra pair of wool socks and gloves, an extra mask, lunch, snack, and water bottle.

Join us as we wander far and wide through the winter landscape of Flying Deer Nature Center!
Together we will kindle fires and cook food, make crafts, learn techniques for survival and winter comfort in the woods, track animals, play games, and share stories. We’ll also give space to dream, to wish, to imagine, and to wonder as we reflect on the year that has passed and the year that lies ahead.
Campers will be split into two groups: Owlets (ages 4–6) and Fledglings (ages 7–12).
